CHANGE CAN CAUSE TURBULENCE

In late September of 2016, as I was driving back from a retreat with a dear friend, the Lord showed me there was an upcoming ‘shift’ in my life.   I recall our conversation and how God tugged at my heart to trust Him.   Little did I know what that ‘shift’ entailed.  From that moment on, CHANGE began to take place.

2017 has been one of the toughest, most challenging years I’ve had in a while. I’ve experienced tears and laughter, success and failure, disappointment and loss, pain and joy, and many more things I’m unable to articulate; all in one year.  I’ve watched my girls grow in their adulthood and get closer to God’s plan for their life.  That, in itself, is a whole different story! #ProudMomma ❤️

The beautiful thing about it is that God’s signature has been all over it.  His amazing, unconditional love has shown up in the most unexpected ways, including, what I call ‘angels on parachutes’….. AMAZING!  Familiar and unfamiliar faces have been assigned to strategically ‘land’ at the perfect time.  For that, I’m eternally grateful.

The end of 2017, doesn’t look anything like it started.  The journey has taken unexpected twists and turns that have brought so much change, including pursuing my passion for empowering others through “Let’s Talk Life” – my Life Coaching business and writing a book, “From Shipwreck to Purpose”. It’s been exciting and daunting at the same time.

The book is still in progress .  The more strides I make, the more waves arise to challenge my rhythm. But, if you know anything about me, you’ll know I’m a warrior at heart and giving up is never an option. I may walk with a limp, but I put up a fight.  I may walk away bruised, but I never back down.  I may run an extra lap, but I’ll finish the race!  #ImthatGirl

As 2018 approaches, I stand in a place of profound gratitude for His unconditional love and the pursuit of purpose.

As the Apostle Paul so eloquently stated, “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” – Phil. 3:13-14(NKJV)

I wish you all the best ending to 2017!  May it be filled with renewed strength to embrace 2018 and the fullness of everything God has in store.

I encourage you to NOT lose sight of your dreams.  Don’t let anything stop you from reaching your destination and keep in mind that God’s timing is not subject to your timeline, but based on His eternal plan.  NEVER give up.

You have a few more days in 2017. Make it count.  You know what to do!

Cheers,

LadyDi
