“Sneak Preview”

Just a “sneak preview” to my upcoming book!

Where you are headed with purpose and destiny, does not have room for double minded folk or backbiters. You need to align with people that truly believe in you before the storm, during the storm and after the shipwreck. You just need a few, my friend, you just need a few!

Now this is where the plot thickens for Paul and I love it.

The passage goes on to say that Paul just shook off the viper and suffered no harm.
Yes, he shipwrecked. Yes, he was high jacked by a viper, but he suffered no harm!
God had a plan. God had him covered. God had his back and there was nothing anyone can do to derail that plan! I don’t know about you, but that excites me. It gives me a confidence and an assurance that my God has it all under control.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper. – Isaiah 54:17

So it happened that there was a man on that island, a magistrate, his name was Publius. He welcomed Paul into his estate and hosted him for three days.
I really like that the bible mentions that the man was a leading citizen and owned an estate. It speaks of the man’s status and influence on the island. You see, we never know whose life we are about to touch. He was a man of resources. Yet, he had his father ill with fever and dysentery.

Was there not a doctor in town? I’m sure there was.

But an ambassador of Christ, “just happened” to shipwreck on the island, a man that carries a name that is above all names, the name of Jesus.

When Paul hears of his ill father, he offered to pray for him, laid hands on him and the man was healed. – Same hand that had just been bitten by a viper.

Oh, let me do some preaching right here!

The very thing God wants to bless you with, is the very thing the enemy will come after. The area that God wants to use you in the most, is the area that will be tested. Don’t be discouraged by tumulteous storms that may rise up and venomous snakes that creep into your mix; God is shaping and grooming you for destiny. He has a plan and He doesn’t make mistakes. Rest assured, He doesn’t make mistakes.

“So when this was done, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed.” – Acts 28:9
